Wicked

Here are our pictures from Wicked.

Here are some pictures of the outside of the theater.

And now the inside:

These were props from the orininal cast. Nessa'a original wheelchair and the Wizards orginal throne. I know, I know. So exciting!

These are pictures of the stage. We weren't technically supposed to take these pictures, so shh, don't tell anyone. One usher told us not to take pictures, then we watched everyone else in the theater taking pictues, some of them right next to other ushers. So, we snapped some quick photos when our usher was busy. We had to take them without a flash and since I can't keep still for anything, they are a little blurry.

For any of you who have been around me at all for the last few years know how much seeing Wicked on broadway meant to me. Seeing a broadway show at all fulfilled a huge dream of mine, but to see Wicked was soooooooo exciting! I was completely overwhelmed with emotion when I heard the first couple of notes and Glinda comes floating out on a clock pendulum. That emotion stayed with me throughout the entire show. Needless to say I loved it! I wish I could go back and see it again tomorrow.

Chrissy, I went to NY with my mom 2 years ago and were able to see Wicked and it truely is amazing. I LOVE NY. I so want to go back and I could just spend the whole time seeing shows. We also went to Hairspray and Phantom. Phantom is probably my favorite but I loved them all. Glad you had a good trip, and Im glad you have pics of some of the buildings because I haven't developed mine yet and I think I have forgotten some of their names. Oh and the guy in the white speedo, we also saw a women like that with the cowboy hat. Crazy people! Thanks for sharing -Diana McInelly
