Jason at 1 year old

Seeing as today is Jason's birthday I thought I'd dedicate this post to him. These aren't pictures from his birthday party which we had last Saturday because I haven't downloaded them onto the computer yet. But, I'll post them as soon as I do that.


Jason is still just a wonderful kid. We all love having him around and he brings joy into our house. He loves to crack jokes. He'll say something in his Jason language, then start to laugh. He fully expects all of us to laugh along with him and we usually do. He loves to play with balls, and as you can tell from these pictures, he loves to be pushed around on his scooter and he loves to play in dirt. That's fortunate for him since we have molehills galore in our yard. Any one know any great tips to get rid of moles?


He's still tiny for his age. He still wears 6-9 month old sizes. I keep thinking he'll have a growth spurt and catch up, but it hasn't happened yet. He's just small and skinny. He hasn't even thought about walking yet. He's great at crawling and he's just now started thinking about standing by himself. Mostly he's just content with where he's at.
